Demo Tapes:

1) AP offers a 1/2" VHS demonstration tape which provides our clients with an overview of our library. Its cost is $25.00, and clients can order it by mailing or faxing a request on letterhead. Of course, clients may keep this tape for reference. We encourage clients to order new ones periodically as AP updates the demo to reflect additions to the library.

Are you interested in samples? We've moved all our samples to our searchable Stock Footage Library.

2) Custom demo tapes (screeners) can be produced on 1/2" VHS (NTSC). These can include up to 60 minutes of material, and two hours of research/assembly time. The cost for the first is $100.00. Additional research and assembly on the same job is billable at $100.00 per tape and $75.00 per hour, or each fraction thereof. We will be happy to give estimates on request. Shipping is extra unless billed to the client's FedEx account. Please note that we require payment in advance for all first time clients.

3) In-house viewing is available free of charge for the first hour, by appointment. Additional hours are billed at $50.00 each. If the client desires an edited demo tape produced during the viewing process, our custom demo tape rates apply.

4) Film elements are available from film masters, please call for viewing information.

To order the client provides AP with the following:

1) The source reel number, scene description, and time-code in and out points from the visible code provided with the demo tapes.

2) The format of the final videotape or film element it requires.

3) All project information needed to complete the order and license agreement including: Use, title of project, client's ID or project #, end user (your client), length (running time and frequency), markets (number and size of markets if applicable), purchase order#, shipping account and address.

4) Payment in full for all license, research/assembly, and duplication fees prior to shipment of the final element.

Terms and Conditions:

1) License fees for use are computed on a per cut basis for each shot ordered and are billed per second of actual on-screen time, whichever is the greater, with a TEN SECOND MINIMUM PER CUT. The minimum applies regardless of whether one shot is used repeatedly or different shots are used. The actual rights licensed and final terms are outlined in the license agreement.

2) The client will be billed for all lab, duplication and shipping expenses, in addition to any license and research fees.

3) AP will produce a final-element master for the client, in the format specified, and at the client's expense, based on the time-code numbers provided by the client. The final element master must be returned to AP within 30 days of delivery to the client, or upon completion of the production, whichever comes first.

4) The client must provide to AP a 3/4" NTSC video copy of the finished production within 30 days of final element delivery to the client, or upon completion of the production, whichever comes first.

5) AP reserves the right to withhold access to its library at any time.

6) All footage is licensed nonexclusively to clients.

7) AP must receive credit in any production that has "screen credits." Please contact AP regarding the appropriate language.

Definitions:

1) A demonstration element or "demo" is any element supplied by Aeronautic Pictures (AP) to a client for the purposes of previewing material from the AP library. A demo tape is never a master element, but, it must be returned to AP unless otherwise arranged in writing. Demos contain time-code numbers within the picture area to assist clients in making scene selections when ordering.

2) A master is an element of the highest quality, which may include videotape, film, still photographs, or other artwork. Masters are not normally available to clients, but, special arrangements can be made.

3) A final element is a sub-master of very high quality which AP provides to the client for use. Final elements are always returned to AP.

4) A cut is any edit in the client's production.

5) A shot is the period from the moment film or videotape rolls until it stops.
