F-18 Crash Footage - El Toro Airshow Accident This is the plane crash stock footage of the famous crash of Marine Corps Colonel Jerry Cadick, at the time commanding officer of MAG-11, during the MCAS El Toro Air Show on April 24, 1988. The accident took place before a crowd of 300,000 when he crashed his F/A-18 Hornet. It was the basis for the Rescue 911 episode "Miracle Marine." As you can see in the preview we had two cameras there that day and are offering both views for one price. It was shot on Betacam but now we only deliver it as a digital file. The price reflects the entire clip (the two clips from camera 1 and 2) you see in the preview. PLEASE NOTICE: This footage is not royalty free or priced like our other material.
